Job Description: Finance Manager (Strategic Growth & IPO Readiness)
Role Evolution & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role are divided into three progressive strategic stages:
- Billing & Collections: Oversee and streamline the end-to-end corporate customer billing process; proactively monitor accounts receivable (AR) and optimize collections to minimize Day Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Budgeting: Prepare comprehensive monthly operational budgets aligned with corporate travel demands and company goals.
- Liquidity Forecasting: Design, implement, and maintain weekly and daily cash flow forecasting models.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct deep-dive cash flow analysis to identify potential fund shortages well in advance, raising early warning alarms and proposing immediate corrective actions.
- Asset & Debt Management: Analyze and optimize the company's vehicle financing structures, including Vehicle EMIs and leasing arrangements, to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Working Capital Optimization: Monitor and manage existing bank working capital facilities, optimizing cash conversion cycles unique to fleet operations.
- Financial Cost Reduction: Actively identify, recommend, and execute strategies to cut overall financial costs, renegotiate interest rates, and reduce banking/transaction fees.
- Profitability Analysis: Analyze route-level and client-level profitability to support cost-control initiatives.
- IPO Pre-Planning: Lead the financial preparation, documentation, and procedural structuring required for a successful IPO within a 3-year horizon.
- Rigorous Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to all corporate governance, statutory compliances, taxation laws, and financial reporting standards required of a public-facing entity.
- Audit & Reporting: Transition financial reporting from standard operational accounting to public-market-grade frameworks (e.g., IFRS / Ind-AS / GAAP depending on region), coordinating directly with big-four or top-tier external auditors.
- Stakeholder Relations: Assist executive leadership in preparing financial presentations for board members, financial institutions, and eventual investor relations.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: 6–10 years of core corporate finance experience. Experience in logistics, fleet management, employee transport, or high-volume mobility sectors is highly preferred.
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent premium financial qualification.
- Technical Skills: Advanced financial modelling (Excel/financial software), deep familiarity with working capital facilities (OD, CC limits), and experience working with modern ERP systems.
- IPO/Compliance Exposure: Prior experience or strong theoretical grounding in corporate compliance, audit management, or assisting a company through capital restructuring/fundraising is a massive advantage.
- Soft Skills: A sharp eye for detail, the ability to work under tight cash constraints, and the gravitas to collaborate with banks and senior leadership.
Pay: ₹36,130.99 - ₹137,042.71 per month
