We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development professional with experience in selling Cybersecurity solutions and services. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth across enterprise, SMB, and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and industry events.
- Identify opportunities for Cybersecurity solutions including:
- Managed Security Services (MSSP)
- SOC Services
- VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing)
- Cloud Security
- Endpoint Security
- Network Security
- IAM (Identity & Access Management)
- Compliance & Risk Management Services
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal discussions.
- Understand customer security challenges and align appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, CISOs, IT Heads, and Procurement Teams.
- Prepare commercial proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams for solution design and customer engagements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting reports using CRM tools.
- Monitor cybersecurity market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development, IT Sales, or Cybersecurity Sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity services, technologies, and industry trends.
- Experience in B2B sales and enterprise account management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage with technical and non-technical decision-makers.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, SOC, VAPT, MDR, XDR, EDR, Cloud Security, or Compliance Services.
- Existing network within IT, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Government sectors.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIST, and SOC 2.
- Experience working with cybersecurity product vendors or system integrators.
