Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sr. Technical Project Manager to join our growing team at Finvasia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead end-to-end delivery of complex, full-stack technology projects.
The role involves driving technical architecture, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring scalable,
high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend and frontend
technologies, along with proven leadership and project management capabilities in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end execution of full-stack projects across backend (Node.js/NestJS) and frontend
(React/Next.js)
- Own the complete project lifecycle including planning, execution, delivery, and post-release analysis
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery with strong execution predictability

2. Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Drive technical architecture discussions focusing on scalability, security, and performance
- Translate business requirements into robust technical execution plans
- Ensure adoption of microservices, event-driven architecture, and best engineering practices
- Guide teams on system design, performance optimization, and fault tolerance
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with:
● Product (requirements and prioritization)
● Design (UX alignment)
● Engineering (development and architecture)
● DevOps (infra, CI/CD, releases)
- Act as the central point of coordination across teams to drive alignment and execution
4. Agile Execution & Governance
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Drive delivery governance, tracking progress against milestones and KPIs
- Maintain Jira/Confluence hygiene, documentation, and reporting standards
5. Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early
- Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Proactively resolve execution challenges in a fast-paced, real-time environment
6. Engineering Excellence & Quality
- Ensure adherence to code quality standards, reviews, and best practices
- Drive adoption of testing frameworks, automation, and performance testing
- Oversee release management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes
7. Performance Monitoring & Metrics
- Track and improve delivery metrics, including:
● Sprint velocity
● Release frequency
● Defect rates
● System performance and uptime
- Leverage monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance optimization

8. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Communicate project status, risks, and insights to leadership and stakeholders
- Provide data-driven updates and execution visibility
- Ensure alignment between business priorities and engineering execution
9. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor engineering teams and junior project managers
- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Enable teams to operate with high efficiency and autonomy
Key Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Strong expertise in backend technologies: Node.js, NestJS
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks: React.js, Next.js (SSR, performance optimization)
● REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets
● Microservices and distributed systems architecture
- Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Familiarity with caching systems like Redis
Qualifications & years of Experience:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● 18+ years of experience in software development and technical project/program management.
● Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technology projects.
● Prior experience in FinTech, Trading Platforms, SaaS, or product-based companies preferred.
● Certifications such as CSM / PSM are a plus
Pay: Up to ₹3,500,000.00 per year
