Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Academic Counsellor cum Telecaller to guide students regarding academic courses and career options while handling telephonic inquiries efficiently. The candidate should have strong communication skills and prior experience in counselling or telecalling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents about courses, admissions, and career opportunities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic team
- Achieve daily/weekly counselling and calling targets
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduation completed (any stream)
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Academic Counsellor or Telecaller
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to persuade and build rapport with students and parents
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM is a plus)
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in education, coaching institutes, or training centers
- Comfortable working with targets and follow-ups
