Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and project managers while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are maintained.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.
- Measure work completed and verify contractor bills and material usage.
- Maintain site documentation, including reports, inspection records, and work logs.
- Communicate project updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in construction site supervision (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
