Job Title: Automation Tester
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 4–6 years in software testing to join our QA team. You'll own end-to-end test automation using Java and Selenium/Playwright, working closely with developers and product teams to ship high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Java and Selenium/Playwright
- Write, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Build and maintain reusable test data sets that support scalable automated test suites
- Participate in requirements reviews to assess testability and contribute to test plan validation
- Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles
- Identify, log, and track defects; liaise with developers through to resolution
- Produce clear test execution reports and defect summaries for development and product stakeholders
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows (Git/Bitbucket)
- Stay current with QA tooling, frameworks, and best practices
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for UI test automation
- Proficiency in Java for writing and maintaining test scripts
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
- Working knowledge of Git for version control
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
