Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Ph.D. in Physical Education from a recognized university (Mandatory).
Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognized university.
Strong academic background with a consistent record of excellence.
Minimum 2 years of teaching, coaching, sports training, or relevant professional experience.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals/conferences will be an added advantage.
Candidates must meet UGC/AICTE norms as applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Physical Education and allied subjects.
Conduct practical sessions, sports training, fitness programs, and physical activities.
Develop and update curriculum in line with academic advancements and sports industry requirements.
Guide students in research work, dissertations, and academic projects.
Mentor students for academic, athletic, and professional development.
Organize and participate in sports events, tournaments, workshops, fitness camps, and academic activities.
Contribute to departmental and university-level committees and initiatives.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
Expertise in Sports Training, Fitness Management, Exercise Science, Sports Psychology, and Wellness Practices.
Strong understanding of physical fitness techniques, sports methodologies, and training programs.
Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to interdisciplinary activities and research.
Experience in coaching, organizing sports events, or managing athletic programs will be an added advantage.
Pay Scale
₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month
(Commensurate with qualifications and experience)
