Job Summary
We are looking for a BIM Lead – Electrical with 3+ years of relevant experience in Electrical BIM / MEP Building Services.
Candidates must have Middle East project exposure, preferably on high-rise building services projects, along with proven ability to handle BIM teams and interact directly with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should be technically strong in Electrical BIM coordination and capable of independently managing team deliverables, resolving coordination issues and communicating effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Electrical BIM modelling and coordination activities for building services projects.
- Handle and guide a team of BIM Engineers, BIM Modelers and Coordinators.
- Review and monitor team BIM deliverables, model quality and project timelines.
- Develop, review and coordinate electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Coordinate Electrical services with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Architecture and Structural disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage.
- Attend and lead BIM coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Communicate technical issues, coordination requirements and project updates directly with clients and consultants.
- Understand client requirements and ensure BIM deliverables are completed accordingly.
- Coordinate with site and construction teams to resolve design and installation-related issues.
- Review shop drawings, construction drawings and coordinated BIM models.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements and project-specific requirements.
- Support BIM Execution Plan, modelling standards and project workflows.
- Monitor project deadlines and ensure timely submission of BIM deliverables.
- Support preparation of as-built BIM models and handover documentation.
- Identify technical and coordination issues and provide practical solutions.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP – Electrical.
- Good working knowledge of Navisworks Manage.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of Electrical Building Services and MEP coordination.
- Knowledge of clash detection, clash resolution and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Familiarity with LOD 300/350/400/500 requirements.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, BEP and ISO 19650 is an advantage.
- Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is preferred.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant Electrical BIM / MEP experience.
- Middle East/GCC project exposure is mandatory.
- Experience working on high-rise building services / MEP projects is strongly preferred.
- Must have experience handling and guiding a BIM team.
- Must be comfortable with client and consultant interaction.
- Strong experience in Electrical BIM coordination.
- Hands-on experience with Revit MEP and Navisworks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage BIM deliverables and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Middle East Project Exposure
Candidates who have worked on projects for the Middle East/GCC region will be preferred.
Exposure to projects in countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait or Bahrain will be an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
- Relevant BIM certification will be an advantage.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical BIM professional who can combine technical BIM expertise with team leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
A candidate with 3+ years of experience can be considered if they have strong Middle East project exposure, high-rise/building services experience, team-handling capability and confidence in client/consultant interaction.
