We are looking for an experienced and dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to join our Senior Secondary section. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent teaching and classroom management skills, and proven experience teaching Accountancy to Classes XI–XII in a CBSE school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Accountancy to Classes XI–XII as per the CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
- Prepare structured and effective lesson plans focused on conceptual clarity and practical application.
- Explain accounting concepts such as journal entries, ledger, trial balance, financial statements, partnership accounts, company accounts, cash flow statements, and related topics.
- Develop students’ numerical, analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Use practical examples, case studies, accounting exercises, and technology-enabled teaching methods to make concepts easier to understand.
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, projects, classwork, and examinations.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board examinations.
- Evaluate answer sheets and assignments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Analyse students’ academic performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Provide additional support, remedial classes, and guidance to students when required.
- Guide students in Accountancy-related projects, practical activities, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
- Coordinate with parents, colleagues, and academic coordinators regarding student progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, workshops, seminars, and other academic activities.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of teaching experience as a PGT Accountancy Teacher, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong knowledge of Accountancy concepts and the CBSE Senior Secondary curriculum.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Ability to explain complex accounting concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of CBSE examination patterns and assessment practices.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to students’ academic success.
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred, as applicable.
- Candidates with relevant CBSE Senior Secondary teaching experience will be given preference.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
