job role: Advanced Excel Trainer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Excel Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs on Microsoft Excel, ranging from intermediate to advanced levels. The trainer will be responsible for designing course materials, conducting hands-on training sessions, assessing learner progress, and helping participants develop practical Excel skills for business analysis, reporting, automation, and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Advanced Microsoft Excel training programs for employees, students, or corporate clients.
- Train participants on advanced Excel features, including:
- Advanced formulas and functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, etc.)
- Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
- Data Validation and Conditional Formatting
- Dashboard Creation and Data Visualization
- Power Query and Power Pivot
- Excel Automation using Macros and VBA
- Data Analysis and Reporting Techniques
- Excel Best Practices and Productivity Tools
- Develop training materials, presentations, assignments, and assessment exercises.
- Conduct classroom, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions.
- Evaluate participant performance through tests, projects, and practical exercises.
- Provide post-training support and guidance.
- Stay updated with the latest Excel features and industry trends.
- Customize training programs based on organizational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Dashboard Development.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in Excel training, corporate training, or data analysis.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners of varying skill levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification or equivalent.
- Experience in corporate training environments.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience in e-learning content development.
