About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and passionate Assistant Executive Producer with a strong background in musical productions, theatre, and live entertainment events. The ideal candidate will support the Executive Producer in planning, coordinating, and executing productions from concept to curtain call, ensuring seamless event delivery within timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Producer in planning and executing musical, theatre, and live entertainment productions.
- Coordinate with directors, artists, performers, musicians, choreographers, technical teams, and vendors.
- Develop and manage production schedules, rehearsals, and event timelines.
- Support budgeting, vendor negotiations, procurement, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate venue logistics, permissions, technical requirements, and production resources.
- Ensure smooth communication between creative, production, and operations teams.
- Monitor rehearsals and live event execution to ensure production quality.
- Handle artist hospitality, travel arrangements, accommodation, and backstage management.
- Assist in preparing production reports, contracts, call sheets, and event documentation.
· Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulation.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges during rehearsals and live events.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, and production excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Mass Communication, Performing Arts, Theatre, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in musical productions, theatre productions, or live event management.
- Strong understanding of stage production, backstage operations, and event logistics.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project coordination tools.
- Willingness to travel and work on weekends, evenings, and event days as required.
