Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and people-oriented professional to join our Corporate HQ in Ahmedabad as Assistant Manager – HR & Administration. The role will be responsible for managing Talent Acquisition for all units and Head Office, employee onboarding and induction, HQ payroll coordination, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and overall administrative functions at the Corporate Office.The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, coordination, and execution capabilities, with the ability to independently manage multiple HR and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all manufacturing units and Head Office.
- Coordinate with Directors, department heads, and plant teams to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, references, LinkedIn, and other recruitment channels.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, feedback, and selection processes.
- Handle salary discussions, offer roll-outs, and joining coordination.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring MIS.
- Ensure timely closure of positions as per business requirements.
Onboarding & Employee Induction
- Manage complete onboarding process for all new employees across units and HQ.
- Coordinate with all concerned stakeholders to ensure smooth joining and onboarding formalities.
- Communicate joining details, documentation requirements, reporting instructions, and induction schedules to all relevant departments and units.
- Conduct induction and orientation sessions for all new joinees at HQ.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation, employee file creation, and onboarding compliance.
Payroll & HR Operations
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs for HQ employees including attendance, leave records, reimbursements, incentives, and deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in coordination with finance/accounts.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, appointment letters, confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and employee database accuracy.
- Support statutory and compliance-related HR documentation.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle employee grievances, workplace concerns, and employee engagement activities at HQ.
- Assist management and Directors in disciplinary matters, investigations, warnings, and policy enforcement.
- Promote a professional, disciplined, and positive work culture.
- Support retention and employee satisfaction initiatives.
Administration & Facility Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations at Corporate HQ.
- Coordinate housekeeping, office maintenance, pantry management, vendor coordination, office supplies, and facility upkeep.
- Ensure smooth functioning of office infrastructure and employee facilities.
- Support travel bookings, visitor management, and internal event coordination when required.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HR MIS, employee records, organizational databases, and documentation systems.
- Prepare periodic reports related to recruitment, manpower, attendance, payroll, attrition, and HR operations.
- Assist in implementation and improvement of HR policies, SOPs, and systems.
- Support performance management and appraisal coordination.
- Provide regular HR and administrative updates to management and Directors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 4–8 years of relevant HR and administration experience.
- Experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Operations is mandatory.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of labor laws and HR practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS systems, and documentation management.
- Ability to independently handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Candidates from manufacturing, industrial, or corporate office environments will be preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
