About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity & Splunk Analytics Tutor to teach students practical cybersecurity concepts, security monitoring, log analysis, and threat detection using Python, SQL, and Splunk. The tutor will help students understand how cybersecurity teams use data and tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
The tutor will teach students the fundamentals of cybersecurity, including security monitoring, threat detection, incident investigation, log analysis, and basic security operations.
They should be able to guide students in using Splunk for searching logs, creating dashboards, analyzing security events, writing queries, and understanding real-world SOC workflows.
The tutor will also teach how Python and SQL can be used in cybersecurity for automation, data analysis, investigation, and reporting. They should prepare hands-on exercises, assignments, and practical projects based on real security scenarios.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals

- Knowledge of SOC operations and incident response basics
- Ability to create practical labs and real-world exercises
- Strong communication and teaching skills
Preferred Experience
Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is preferred.
Experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, Splunk administration, threat detection, or security operations will be a plus.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be able to teach cybersecurity in a practical and beginner-friendly way. They should focus on real-world examples, hands-on labs, and job-ready skills that students can use in cybersecurity roles.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience and certifications will also be considered.
Work Mode
Online / On-site / Hybrid, depending on company requirements.
Salary
- Market competitive / Based on experience and course workload.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
