Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure engineering materials, fabrication items, electricals, hydraulics, and industrial consumables.
- Develop and maintain vendor database and supplier relationships.
- Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and track order status.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments for material planning and procurement.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder requirements.
- Conduct vendor evaluation based on quality, delivery, and pricing performance.
- Follow up with suppliers for pending deliveries and documentation.
- Maintain purchase records, reports, and MIS data.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and budget targets.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement in manufacturing or material handling industry preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial components, fabrication materials, and engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kovilpalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
