Job Summary
We are looking for an L1 Network Engineer with hands-on experience in FortiGate Firewalls and Aruba Wireless solutions. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security devices. The role involves incident handling, basic configuration support, and coordination with L2/L3 teams for issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of FortiGate Firewall issues such as VPN connectivity, policy access, NAT, and internet-related problems.
- Support Aruba Wireless infrastructure, including Access Points (APs), WLAN connectivity, SSID configurations, and user access issues.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts and incidents.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams as required.
- Assist in firmware upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance activities.
- Maintain network documentation and update incident/service request tickets.
- Provide remote and onsite support to end users for network-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to IT security and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, and Routing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls (Policy Management, VPN Monitoring, NAT, UTM basics).
- Experience with Aruba Wireless (AP provisioning, SSID troubleshooting, user connectivity support).
- Knowledge of network monitoring and ticketing tools.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with Windows environments and basic network security concepts.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
