Admission Counsellor – NEET/JEE Residential Coaching Institute
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Admission Counsellor to join our NEET/JEE Residential Coaching Institute. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, explaining our academic and residential programs, handling admission enquiries, and converting leads into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding NEET/JEE preparation programs and residential coaching facilities.
- Understand students' academic requirements, career goals, and preferred course options.
- Explain course structure, faculty, study methodology, residential facilities, fee structure, scholarships, and admission process.
- Handle enquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, website, walk-ins, and other lead-generation channels.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students and parents and maintain the admission pipeline.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions and achieve monthly admission targets.
- Conduct campus/institute visits and provide counselling to visiting parents and students.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, counselling sessions, and admissions.
- Coordinate with the academic, hostel, and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Participate in admission campaigns, seminars, school visits, career counselling sessions, and promotional activities when required.
- Build a strong relationship with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
Required Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in admission counselling, student counselling, or education-sector sales.
- Candidates with experience in NEET/JEE coaching institutes, residential coaching institutes, test-preparation institutes, or similar educational organizations will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of the NEET/JEE coaching ecosystem and student/parent decision-making process.
- Experience in handling admission leads and achieving conversion targets will be an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and counselling skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Good knowledge of NEET/JEE coaching programs and competitive-exam preparation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents.
- Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM/lead-management systems.
Preferred Candidate:
Candidates currently working or previously worked as an Admission Counsellor / Academic Counsellor / Education Counsellor / Centre Counsellor in a NEET/JEE or competitive-exam coaching institute are strongly preferred.

Salary: 10K to 15K + Incentives
