Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer / Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer to lead our workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and occupational health regulations. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and environmental regulatory compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify potential hazards in manufacturing or production environments.
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to prevent recurrence of workplace accidents.
- Facilitate training & development programs on safety regulations, hazardous materials regulations, first aid procedures, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and emergency response protocols for employees.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health standards such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, hazardous materials handling, and environmental management systems.
- Oversee occupational health initiatives to promote employee health through regulatory compliance standards in workplace safety and environmental health practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of safety audits, incident reports, training records, and regulatory compliance reports to support ongoing legal adherence.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Safety Officer or EHS Officer within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental management systems, hazardous materials regulations, and workers' compensation law.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct hazard assessments, root cause analysis, and report writing with attention to detail.
- Experience implementing workplace safety programs and conducting employee training & development sessions on safety topics.
- Occupational health expertise with a focus on environmental compliance and regulatory/legal standards in production environments is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, OSHA training credentials, or related safety qualifications are preferred to enhance your impact in this role.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
