Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Head to drive our business growth and market expansion across Kerala. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for penetrating modern retail channels (supermarkets/hypermarkets), optimizing our distributor and super-stockist network, and leading a high-performing field sales team to achieve regional targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive overall revenue growth and expand market share across Kerala.
- Channel Management: Penetrate modern trade channels (supermarkets, hypermarkets) and build strong long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Network Optimization: Manage, review, and optimize the existing distributor and super-stockist network to ensure maximum product availability and market penetration.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of field sales executives to achieve individual and regional sales targets.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities.
- Territory Management: Plan and undertake extensive travel across the state to audit markets, support the field team, and meet key channel partners.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience as a State Head or Regional Head.
- Education: Any Graduate degree.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Kerala.
- Language: Fluency in Malayalam and English is highly preferred.
