Role Overview:
The Fashion Technician Associate Trainer (FTA Trainer) will be responsible for delivering skill-based training in garment construction, tailoring, and fashion basics. The role focuses on providing hands-on training to trainees and preparing them for employment in the apparel and textile industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and practical training sessions in fashion design, tailoring, and garment construction
- Train candidates on sewing techniques, pattern making, cutting, stitching, and finishing
- Provide hands-on exposure to industrial sewing machines and tools
- Guide trainees in basic fashion design concepts, fabric knowledge, and measurements
- Conduct practical demonstrations, assignments, and assessments
- Monitor trainee performance and maintain attendance, assessments, and MIS reports
- Support trainees in portfolio development and project work
- Prepare candidates for job readiness, including interview preparation and workplace etiquette
- Ensure proper maintenance of machines, tools, and training materials
- Coordinate with center team for smooth execution of training programs
Eligibility Criteria:
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel, or related field
- Certification in tailoring or garment technology is preferred
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in fashion training, tailoring, or garment industry
- Experience in skill development or vocational training programs preferred
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and tailoring techniques
- Hands-on experience with sewing machines (manual & industrial)
- Understanding of fabric types, measurements, and pattern making
- Good communication and training skills
- Ability to manage classroom and practical sessions
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
