Important Note
This is NOT a design/development role. Candidates must have experience in Dimensional Engineering, GD&T, Geometrical Technical Specifications, Tolerance Management, Gap & Flush, and Convergence Activities.
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Design Convergence Leads to support vehicle development programs by ensuring dimensional quality, GD&T compliance, gap & flush requirements, and tolerance convergence across automotive systems.
The role involves working closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams from concept development through vehicle launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain datum schemes for automotive components and assemblies.
- Converge functional, assembly, and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and review GD&T specifications as per ASME/ISO standards.
- Perform stack-up analysis (RSS/VSA) and recommend tolerance improvements.
- Review and approve supplier GD&T reports and inspection plans.
- Ensure aesthetic and functional requirements are captured in drawings and CAD models.
- Analyze dimensional measurement data and support issue resolution.
- Review gauge and fixture concepts.
- Support tooling sign-off, PPAP approvals, vehicle builds, and launch activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to achieve dimensional targets.

- Strong experience in Dimensional Engineering
