Freelance Architectural Draftsperson - Remote

About the Role
360 Property Showcase is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to create accurate 2D floor plans for residential properties in Australia.
This is a long-term freelance opportunity. We are looking to build a lasting relationship with a drafting partner who can grow with our business.
For each project, we will provide:
- Property photographs
- Room measurements
- Hand sketches (where applicable)
- Walkthrough videos (where available)
Your role will be to convert this information into professional floor plans suitable for real estate marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D residential floor plans from supplied information.
- Draft walls, doors, windows, staircases and fixed fixtures.
- Label rooms and include dimensions where required.
- Deliver clean, professional drawings that follow our drafting standards.
- Complete revisions when required.
- Meet agreed turnaround times.
Requirements
- Experience creating residential floor plans.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret photographs and measurements.
- Good written English communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
Preferred
- Experience with Australian residential floor plans.
- Knowledge of SketchUp or Revit.
- Experience producing floor plans for real estate marketing.
Deliverables
Successful applicants should be able to provide:
- Editable DWG files (preferred)
- PDF
- High-resolution PNG
Compensation
This is a per-floor-plan freelance role rather than an hourly position.
Most projects will consist of:
- 3-bedroom detached houses
- 4-bedroom detached houses
- Occasional townhouses
Please include your standard rate for:
- 3-bedroom houses
- 4-bedroom houses
- Townhouses (if different)
Rates for larger or more complex properties can be discussed separately.
