Job Summary
An Orthopedic Technician assists orthopedic doctors in the treatment and care of patients with bone, joint, and muscle injuries. They apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and support devices while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist orthopedic surgeons during examinations and procedures.
- Apply, remove, and repair plaster and fiberglass casts.
- Prepare splints, braces, traction, and orthopedic support devices.
- Educate patients about cast care and mobility precautions.
- Maintain orthopedic instruments and equipment.
- Assist in wound dressing and minor procedures.
- Monitor patients for complications such as swelling or pain.
- Maintain patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and infection control in the orthopedic unit.
- Coordinate with nurses and other healthcare staff.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Orthopedic Technology or related field.
- Basic knowledge of orthopedic procedures and instruments.
- Certification in cast application is an added advantage.

- Ability to handle patients carefully and professionally.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
