Role description
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled CAD / Creo Plastic Design Engineer with strong experience in plastic component design and development. The candidate should be proficient in Creo and well-versed in plastic manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plastic components using Creo.
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed design documentation.
- Perform DFM/DFA analysis for plastic parts.
- Work closely with manufacturing, tooling, and quality teams.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
- Handle engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Creo (Parametric).
- Expertise in Plastic Part Design (Injection Molding).
- Knowledge of plastic materials, tolerances, GD&T.
- Experience in tooling concepts, mold flow basics preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in automotive / medical / consumer products domain.
- Exposure to Windchill or any PLM tools.
- Basic knowledge of validation and testing processes.
