Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Sales Achievement
Achieve monthly sales targets, generate orders, increase secondary sales, and drive business growth.
2. Outlet Coverage & Route Management
Visit assigned outlets as per the plan, cover all territories.
3. New Business Development
Identify and onboard new retail outlets and expand Company's distribution network.
4. Product Placement & Merchandising
Ensure proper shelf placement, visibility, POSM installation, and merchandising compliance.
5. Order Booking & Stock Management
Collect orders, monitor stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and coordinate replenishment.
6. Retailer Relationship Management
Build strong retailer relationships, resolve complaints, and ensure repeat business.
7. Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and provide market feedback.
8. Collections & Credit Control
Follow up on payments and maintain collection efficiency above 95%.
9. Product Promotion
Execute promotions, conduct product demonstrations, and support marketing activities.
10. Reporting & Administration
Submit daily sales reports, maintain customer records, and provide market updates.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Sales Target Achievement, New Outlet Acquisition, Active Outlet Coverage, Productive Calls, Collection Efficiency, SKU Penetration, Merchandising Compliance, Distributor Sales Growth, and Customer Retention.
Required Skills
FMCG sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of Chennai market, MS Excel proficiency, and ability to achieve targets.
