Role Overview
- We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Assistant cum HR to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who can seamlessly bridge the gap between technical IT support and core HR administrative functions.
- You will be responsible for providing essential Level 1 hardware and network support across our Head Office and manufacturing plants, managing IT assets, and handling attendance and salary data for our plant workforce.
- Travel Requirement: This position requires a willingness to travel to plants and remote locations, including a mandatory assignment at our Kim plant for one week every month.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- L1 Support: Provide prompt Level 1 hardware and network support to Head Office and plant users, resolving day-to-day issues related to computers, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Maintenance Tracking: Log, track, and manage printer maintenance calls for the head office and all plant locations.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor daily internet status across all plants and provide timely uptime/downtime updates to the IT manager.
- Surveillance & Executive Setup: Perform basic troubleshooting of CCTV systems and ensure daily startup/functionality in director cabins.
2. HR & Payroll Administration (Kim Plant)
- Attendance Management: Track and maintain daily attendance records for 180 employees at the Kim plant.
- Salary Data Preparation: Compile and prepare accurate monthly salary data for the Kim plant workforce, ensuring compliance with company policies.
3. Asset Management & Administration
- IT Audits: Conduct monthly IT asset audits across all plants to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Documentation: Maintain and update all asset records and daily work tasks meticulously in Google Sheets, reporting progress directly to the IT manager.
- Onboarding Support: Prepare detailed asset handover reports for new joiners in coordination with the MIS team.
- Director Support: Arrange and prepare the conference room for director meetings as required.
4. MIS & Website Support
- Operations Assistance: Assist the MIS team with lead follow-ups, credit control tasks, and the preparation of software payment reminders.
- Compliance Coordination: Coordinate with the Company Secretary (CS) and web developers to ensure the timely upload of website compliance data.
- Task Management: Execute additional tasks assigned by the IT Manager and deliver timely progress reports.
5. Executive Technical Support
- Provide dedicated, confidential technical support for Directors' personal and business-related technical requirements as and when needed.
- Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Proven experience in Level 1 IT support/hardware troubleshooting, combined with basic exposure to HR admin or payroll tasks.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with networking basics, OS troubleshooting, CCTV systems, and proficiency in Google Sheets / MS Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and a highly organized approach to documentation.
- Mobility: Must be flexible and willing to travel to remote plant sites, including the monthly 1-week rotation at the Kim plant; the rest of the 3 weeks will be at the head office in Surat.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
