Placement Coordinator – AI Skills Lab
AI Skills Lab is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Placement Coordinator to support learners in their career transition journey and strengthen our corporate hiring network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building relationships with recruiters, HR professionals, hiring managers, and corporate partners to generate placement opportunities for learners enrolled in our upskilling programs. The role involves coordinating end-to-end placement activities, including job opportunity sourcing, interview scheduling, placement drives, resume reviews, mock interviews, candidate shortlisting, employer engagement, and placement tracking.
The Placement Coordinator will work closely with learners to understand their career aspirations, assess their job readiness, guide them through the placement process, and ensure they are adequately prepared for interviews and hiring assessments. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining placement records, tracking hiring metrics, gathering employer feedback, and continuously expanding the company's network of hiring partners across industries such as IT, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI, DevOps, and related domains.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, relationship management, networking, and coordination skills, along with the ability to engage professionally with both learners and corporate stakeholders. Prior experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, placements, business development, corporate relations, or the EdTech industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with HRs, recruiters, hiring managers, and corporate partners.
- Generate placement and internship opportunities for learners.
- Coordinate placement drives, interviews, hiring events, and recruitment campaigns.
- Assist learners with resume optimization, LinkedIn profiling, and interview preparation.
- Track candidate progress throughout the placement lifecycle.
- Maintain placement databases, hiring records, and employer engagement reports.
- Collaborate with training and learner success teams to improve placement readiness.
- Continuously identify new hiring partners and recruitment opportunities.
- Ensure timely communication between employers and candidates.
- Achieve monthly placement and employer acquisition targets.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, job portals, and CRM tools.

Experience:
- 1–5 years in Placements, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Relations, HR, Business Development, or EdTech.
