Job Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Export Executive with experience in the chemical sector to oversee and manage our export activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry regulations, coordinating logistics, and maintaining strong relationships with international clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in chemical exports and a passion for global trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage export documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of analysis in compliance with international standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all export activities adhere to chemical industry regulations and standards, including REACH, OSHA, and other relevant guidelines.
Logistics Coordination: Work closely with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange the transportation of chemical products, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Customer Relations: Serve as the primary contact for international clients, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
Market Analysis: Conduct research on international markets and industry trends to identify new opportunities and stay competitive.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and provide regular performance reports.
Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business leads and opportunities in international markets through market research, networking, and industry events.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in export operations within the chemical industry, with a proven track record in lead generation and business development.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of chemical export regulations, logistics, and documentation. Strong communication, negotiation, and lead generation skills.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with export management software and MS Office Suite.
Languages: Proficiency in English is advantageous.
