We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payment Officer with at least 2 years of experience in the NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in payment operations, payment gateway reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and financial reconciliation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage payment-related activities efficiently while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily payment transactions and ensure timely settlements.
- Perform payment gateway reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor payment transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Coordinate with banks, payment gateway providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports.
- Investigate and resolve failed, pending, reversed, or disputed transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to payment operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and internal control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of payment processes and reconciliations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance payment efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payment operations within an NBFC or financial services organization.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, payment gateway reconciliation, settlements, and banking transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
