Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling. Developing distributor and retailer networks, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive business growth.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned by the management.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Promote nutraceutical products to distributors, retailers, pharmacies, wellness stores, and healthcare professionals.
- Increase product availability and market penetration.
- Appoint and manage distributors and dealers in the assigned territory.
- Ensure regular order collection and timely product supply.
- Monitor stock availability and prevent stock shortages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts.
- Address customer queries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Conduct regular market visits and customer meetings.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Collect market feedback and provide reports to management.
- Identify opportunities for new product launches and business expansion.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers and distributors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or any related field.
- MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Healthcare industries.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
