We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and experienced Delivery Rider to join our logistics team.
Job Summary
- Position: Delivery Rider / Delivery Executive
- Location: 119, Utkalmoni Gopabandhu Sarani, Raja Katra, Bara Bazar, Jorasanko, Kolkata, West Bengal 700007
- Salary: ₹12,000 (Fixed Monthly Salary)
- Fuel Allowance: ₹3,000 per month fixed
- Total Take-Home Package: ₹15,000 per month
- Experience Required: 1 to 2 years in FMCG, e-commerce, or local market delivery
- Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Carton & Box Delivery: Securely transport and deliver dry fruit orders packed in small cartons/boxes from the Burrabazar warehouse to retail shops and commercial clients.
- Sample Management: Carry product sample boxes to existing and new merchants as requested; ensure samples are presented correctly and cross-checked against requirements.
- Route Planning: Plan the most efficient delivery routes across Kolkata to save time and meet daily dispatch schedules.
- Order Verification: Cross-check invoices and delivery bills with the physical cartons before loading and at the time of handing over to the client.
- Payment Collection: Handle cash-on-delivery (COD) payments, digital payments, and collect signed delivery acknowledgments safely.
Mandatory Requirements
- Own Vehicle: Must own a reliable two-wheeler (Bike/Scooter) in good working condition with adequate space or a carrier to transport small cartons.
- Documents: A valid Two-Wheeler Driving License (DL), updated vehicle registration (RC), and active insurance.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a delivery rider. Prior FMCG or wholesale market delivery experience in central/north Kolkata is a major plus.
- Smartphone: An Android smartphone with a working internet connection for navigation and team updates.
- Area Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Kolkata routes, especially commercial zones like Burrabazar, Jorasanko, Posta, and surrounding local markets.
