About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Team Head to lead and manage our SAP operations and support business-critical manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP systems, with strong expertise in Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Bill of Materials (BOM), and factory production workflows. This role involves leading the SAP team, driving system improvements, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to optimize operational efficiency and support organizational growth.
Key Role & Responsibilities
- SAP System Management
- Lead the overall management and administration of SAP systems.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.
- Monitor and resolve SAP-related issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Production Planning & BOM Management
- Manage SAP processes related to factory production and manufacturing.
- Maintain and control Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
- Ensure accuracy of production master data and material records.
- Support production planning and manufacturing operations through SAP.
- Team Leadership & Project Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the SAP team.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
- Drive SAP implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.
- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors when required.
- Business Process Improvement
- Analyze existing SAP processes and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices for SAP utilization and data governance.
- Support digital transformation and process automation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Stores, and Finance teams.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Provide functional guidance and support to end users.
- Conduct user training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Data Management & Compliance
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across SAP modules.
- Establish and maintain SAP governance standards.
- Monitor system security and user access controls.
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to SAP systems.
- Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of SAP experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), BOM management, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in SAP system administration, project management, and team leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and factory automation processes.
- SAP certification will be an added advantage.
