Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager who will own the end-to-end matchmaking journey for our clients — from understanding family expectations and curating suitable matches on our CRM, to aligning meetings between families and ensuring every client feels heard, valued, and well taken care of. This is a client-facing leadership role for someone who is empathetic, organized, and an excellent communicator.
Key Responsibilities
Matchmaking & Profile Curation
- Understand each client's background, preferences, and family expectations in detail through onboarding calls and in-person consultations.
- Search, shortlist, and curate compatible profiles using the company CRM, ensuring matches align with stated preferences (community, education, profession, location, family values, etc.).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, preferences, and interaction history in the CRM.
Meeting Coordination
- Align and schedule meetings/calls between prospective matches and their families, managing both sides' availability and expectations.
- Follow up after every meeting to collect feedback from both parties and refine future match suggestions accordingly.
- Handle sensitive conversations (declines, mismatches, renegotiated expectations) with tact and discretion.
Client Relationship & Satisfaction
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building long-term trust with families.
- Proactively update clients on the status of their search, new matches, and next steps.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and ensure a consistently high level of satisfaction throughout the engagement.
- Identify opportunities for referrals and testimonials from happy clients.
Process & Team Leadership
- Improve and standardize matchmaking workflows, CRM hygiene, and follow-up processes.
- Mentor and guide junior relationship managers / matchmaking executives as the team grows.
- Share regular reports with the founder on client pipeline, match success rates, and satisfaction metrics.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent spoken English is a must — polished, confident, and articulate, with strong Hindi and Punjabi as well.
- A bright, sharp, and fast learner — prior experience in matchmaking or client servicing is a plus, but not mandatory. If you have the right attitude and aptitude, we will train you on our process and CRM.
- High emotional intelligence — able to handle sensitive family conversations with patience, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Smart, presentable, and trustworthy personality — families should feel comfortable confiding in you.
- Quick to pick up tools and systems — CRM, WhatsApp, calls, and scheduling tools.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline; able to manage multiple client journeys in parallel.
Good to Have
- Experience in matchmaking, client servicing, relationship management, hospitality, or any premium people-facing role.
- An existing understanding of community and cultural nuances across the Chandigarh Tricity region, Punjab, and North India.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team.
