We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Flow Wrap Food Packaging Operator to operate and monitor flow wrap packaging machines in a food production environment. The successful candidate will ensure products are packaged efficiently, safely, and according to quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust flow wrap packaging machines according to production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and packaging quality throughout production runs.
- Load packaging materials and ensure proper machine feeding.
- Inspect packaged products for correct sealing, labeling, coding, and appearance.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major breakdowns to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate production records and downtime reports.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Assist with changeovers, line clearances, and production line support activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating flow wrap or food packaging machinery preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
