Job Summary
The Process & Financial Audit Manager is responsible for conducting internal audits across dealership operations to ensure compliance with company policies, OEM standards, statutory requirements, and financial controls. The role focuses on identifying process gaps, minimizing financial risks, preventing revenue leakage, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Audit & Controls
- Conduct periodic audits of dealership financial transactions and records.
- Verify revenue recognition, vehicle sales accounting, and expense controls.
- Review cash handling procedures, bank reconciliations, and fund management.
- Audit accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory valuations.
- Identify financial irregularities, fraud risks, and control weaknesses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
Operational & Process Audit
- Audit end-to-end dealership processes across:
- Vehicle Sales
- Service Operations
- Spare Parts Operations
- Used Car Business
- Finance & Insurance (F&I)
- Procurement and Vendor Management
- Evaluate adherence to SOPs, internal controls, and OEM guidelines.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and closure of observations.
Inventory & Asset Audit
- Conduct physical verification of vehicles, spare parts, tools, and fixed assets.
- Review stock movement, aging inventory, and stock reconciliation processes.
- Verify inventory controls to prevent pilferage, shortages, and obsolescence.
- Audit vehicle inventory management and delivery documentation.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, OEM requirements, and legal regulations.
- Assess operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Review controls related to customer refunds, discounts, incentives, and warranty claims.
- Monitor adherence to anti-fraud and ethical business practices.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Present audit observations to senior management and business heads.
- Track audit action plans and corrective measures.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for audit and compliance monitoring.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Support automation and digital control initiatives.
- Assist management in developing stronger internal control frameworks.
- Conduct awareness sessions on compliance and control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional qualification preferred:
- CA (Chartered Accountant)
- CMA
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
- MBA (Finance)
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in internal audit, financial audit, compliance, or risk management.
- Prior experience in automobile dealerships, automotive retail, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Knowledge of dealership operations (Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and F&I) is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of internal controls and audit methodologies.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify control gaps.
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, DMS (Dealer Management Systems), and MS Excel.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
