Binny's Jewellery Private Limited is hiring one Maintenance Engineer / Technician to own the physical upkeep of all our Mumbai premises — jewellery manufacturing floor, offices and showrooms.

Two-sided role. Half is factory machinery. Half is office and showroom facility work — ACs, chairs, lighting, plumbing, washrooms, RO, extinguishers, display fittings. Only-machinery or only-admin profiles are not a fit.
This is NOT an IT job. No software, network, ERP, laptop or server work.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Factory
- Casting, polishing, laser, CNC, enamel/meena and support equipment: breakdown attendance, lubrication, motor, belt and bearing work, vendor calibration
- Compressors, ultrasonic cleaners, dust and fume extraction
Office and showroom
- Office AC (split/cassette): filter cleaning, gas, drain line, AMC visits
- Electrical: lighting, LED, fans, switchboards, sockets, wiring, UPS points, load checks
- Plumbing: washrooms, taps, flush, drainage, geysers, pantry
- Furniture: workstations, chairs, cabins, partitions, doors, locks, keys
- RO / water purifier, water tanks, pest control, housekeeping vendor supervision
- Showroom: display lighting, glass counters, showcases, entrance doors, signage — daily pre-opening walkthrough, same-day closure of anything a customer can see
- New joiner desk readiness and seating changes as per HR
Utilities and safety
- LT panels, MCBs, DBs, earthing, DG set, UPS, water pumps, lift (where applicable)
- Fire extinguishers: placement, refill and expiry register; monsoon preparation
Records
- Run a written preventive maintenance calendar for all three areas
- Attend any breakdown or complaint within 30 minutes in working hours
- Maintain breakdown log, AMC and vendor master, spares list with minimum stock
- Monthly maintenance report to management; flag AMC and statutory due dates before they lapse
WHAT WE NEED
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 2 to 5 years hands-on maintenance experience
- Sector open — manufacturing OR facility/admin maintenance (office buildings, retail, malls, hospitality). Must have personally maintained both equipment and premises.
- Does first-level mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs personally, not only supervises
- Reads a basic wiring diagram, uses a multimeter, handles motor, bearing, MCB and DB level work
- Handles vendors: calling, scheduling, supervising, verifying work
- Maintains logs and due-date trackers properly
- Fluent in Hindi, comfortable in Marathi. English a plus.
- Willing to work the shop floor in the morning and fix a cabin AC or chair in the afternoon
GOOD TO HAVE
Multi-location facility experience · AMC negotiation · gold jewellery plant machinery (casting, polishing, laser, CNC) · retail or showroom facility background · electrical licence · basic Excel · DG, HVAC, lift and compressed air exposure
OTHER
One position, on-roll. Covers three Mumbai locations; travel between sites is part of the job. On call for urgent breakdowns and planned work outside working hours.
