We are looking for: Product Owner
You’ll make an impact by:
- Manage Product, System, Architecture, Integration, and Testing requirements for substation automation products.
- Ensure high-quality releases, define release processes, and coordinate release trains.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and delivery performance to management and global product/program management.
- Act as the link between development teams, global roles, external vendors, and customers.
- Drive requirements planning covering design, coding, integration, testing, and CI/CD in line with quality management.
- Define acceptance criteria for all requirements across development, integration, and system testing phases.
- Ensure product OT cybersecurity posture aligns with IEC 62443 zones/conduits model and organizational security policies..
Use your skills to move the world forward!
- B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 10 -15 years in software/embedded product design and development with strong SDLC understanding.
- Minimum 4 years in a Product Owner or equivalent product leadership role.
- Mandatory experience in Power Systems / Substation Automation domain — protection, control, OT Security, SCADA, or energy automation products.
- Domain & Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) System architecture, engineering, commissioning, and operation.
- Working knowledge of IEC 61850 (MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values), IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3.
- Familiarity with substation automation product families — substation controllers, gateways, HMI, protection relays, and engineering tools.
- Understanding of OT Asset Transparency — inventory and health visibility of operational technology assets (IEDs, RTUs, network switches, gateways), firmware management, patch compliance, and lifecycle tracking across the substation.
- OT Security & Secure Communications knowledge:
- IEC 62443 (zones, conduits, security levels for industrial automation).
- IEC 62351 (secure profiles for IEC 61850, 60870-5-104 — TLS, authentication, role-based access).
- Secure communication protocols (TLS/SSL, Certificate management, PKI for substations).
- Network segmentation, firewall policies, and intrusion detection in OT environments.
- Understanding of defense-in-depth strategies for critical infrastructure.
- Exposure to SCADA/HMI systems, gateway configuration, and system integration.
- Software development knowledge (C/C++, Python, or .NET) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud/IoT/edge computing in the context of grid digitalization.
