Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused, and result-oriented Visa Counsellor to assist clients in selecting suitable study destinations and tourist visa options. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a strong understanding of international education and visitor visa processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Visa Counselling
- Counsel students regarding international education opportunities.
- Assess students' academic qualifications, financial profile, and career aspirations.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, colleges, and courses.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and visa procedures.
- Guide students throughout the admission and visa process.
Tourist & Visitor Visa Counselling
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate tourist or visitor visa options.
- Explain visa eligibility, documentation requirements, and processing timelines.
- Provide accurate information regarding travel requirements and embassy guidelines.
- Ensure clients understand visa conditions and compliance requirements.
Client Relationship Management
- Handle walk-in, telephone, website, and social media enquiries.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the application process.
Sales & Business Development
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions and visa applications.
- Achieve monthly counselling and sales targets.
- Promote IVS services professionally and ethically.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services where appropriate.
Documentation & Compliance
- Collect and verify client documents.
- Ensure all applications are complete and accurate before submission.
- Coordinate with documentation, admissions, and visa processing teams.
- Maintain updated client records in the CRM system.
- Follow company SOPs and embassy regulations.
Market Knowledge
- Stay updated on immigration policies, visa regulations, admission requirements, and country-specific updates.
- Attend internal training sessions and workshops.
- Share relevant updates with clients and team members.
Required Skills

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma or certification in counselling or international education is an added advantage.
Experience
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in Study Visa, Tourist Visa, Immigration, or Overseas Education Counselling.
- Freshers: Candidates with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Experience with visa and admission processes for destinations such as:

- Schengen Countries
- Dubai/UAE (Tourist Visa)
