Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Partition Lead Engineer to drive partition-level implementation and closure activities for advanced semiconductor designs. The ideal candidate will work closely with full-chip integration teams to ensure successful execution from floorplanning through signoff while achieving timing, power, and physical design targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead partition/sub-hierarchy physical design implementation activities.
- Perform floorplanning, placement, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), routing, and physical optimization.
- Drive timing, power, area, and congestion closure.
- Support physical verification and signoff activities.
- Collaborate closely with full-chip integration and cross-functional teams.
- Debug and resolve implementation challenges across implementation stages.
- Ensure adherence to RTL-to-GDSII physical design methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Physical Design.
- Strong expertise in partition/sub-hierarchy implementation and integration.
- Solid understanding of the RTL-to-GDSII design flow.
- Experience with timing closure, physical verification, and signoff methodologies.
- Knowledge of low-power design techniques and multi-voltage implementation.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Innovus.
- Experience working on advanced technology nodes.
- Familiarity with UPF/CPF and low-power implementation methodologies.
