About the Role
Veloris Global is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to join our Finance team. This internship is ideal for students, recent graduates, or aspiring accounting professionals who want to gain practical exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, and finance operations in a professional work environment.
The selected intern will work closely with the accounts team, assisting in day-to-day financial activities while developing hands-on experience with accounting processes, documentation, and financial record management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
- Support the preparation of sales invoices, purchase entries, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Help reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer balances.
- Support inventory accounting and stock reconciliation activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, quotations, delivery notes, and financial records.
- Assist with VAT-related documentation and compliance processes.
- Support monthly closing activities and basic financial reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing and payment follow-ups.
- Learn and work with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
- Perform administrative and finance-related tasks assigned by the Accounts team.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing) in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Freshers and students are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.

- Basic understanding of invoicing and taxation concepts.
