Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare floral arrangements such as bouquets, centerpieces, garlands, wreaths, and custom orders based on customer requirements.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable flower combinations and designs.
- Supervise and guide junior florists and shop assistants.
- Manage procurement of fresh flowers from suppliers and local markets.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and freshness of flowers and plants.
- Maintain shop display, cleanliness, and visual presentation.
- Handle walk-in customer orders and phone/online orders.
- Maintain stock levels and minimize wastage of flowers and materials.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
- Assist in pricing, billing coordination, and basic record keeping.
- Train junior staff on floral techniques and customer handling.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve basic complaints professionally.
- Support festive season and bulk order requirements (weddings, events, corporate orders).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of fresh flowers, plants, and floral design techniques.
- Creativity and good aesthetic sense.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Team leadership and supervision skills.
- Time management and ability to handle multiple orders.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and cost control.
Experience:
- 4–7 years of experience in a flower shop or floral business.
- Experience in handling bulk and custom orders is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays (especially during festive and wedding seasons).
- Ability to stand for long hours and handle flowers and materials.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
