Basic Job Functions:

Shift HRBP responsible to ensure uninterrupted operation through healthy HR&IR support in shifts.

Build strong Interpersonal relationships with area managers & supervisors.
-
Support HR & IR activities in shifts like: Communication, Grievance redressal & monitoring, training execution, employee engagement, welfare activities execution.

Prepare shift HR Observation report & submit it to the reporting manager.
Education/Experience:
-
Master of Social work with Industrial Management / Industrial Relations / Labor Welfare or Master of Business Administration in HR awarded by any of the Institutions recognized by the Government of TamilNadu. (or)
-
A degree of Master of Labor Management or Bachelor of Labor Management awarded by the Tamil Nadu Institute of Labor Studies, Chennai or by any University. (or)
-
A Post Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Labor Administration or Labor Laws and Administrative Laws or Industrial Relations and Labor Welfare awarded by any of the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in Human Resources in any reputable factory.

Handled mass workforce /associates in manufacturing set up in shifts or should worked in the shift HR /plant HR role.
Required Skills/Competencies:

Should be able to handle the grievances / crisis Individually and share feedback to the associates.

Should be good in Shop floor Networking and able to do employee counseling.

Good Knowledge in Labor related compliance.
-
Good negotiation skills: ability to persuade and influence decision makers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Essential Responsibilities:
-
ER Observation: - “Receive -> Report -> Feedback”
-
Daily visit to shop floor during the shift hours to strengthen the IR/HR Network with associates and understand their grievances and Visit Address the associates’ grievances in shifts related to the canteen, transport, working conditions, payroll related concerns, etc.

Provide counseling/educate associates on policies and procedures.

Record the shift observations and share the report with the reporting manager & Dept. Head.

Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems in Shifts.

Schedule and Conduct Monthly trainings (Soft Skills Training)

Coordinate to conduct committee meetings and record the minutes, share it to all stakeholders.

Send supervisor communications and ensure bottom level communication is achieved.

Support Oracle related activities in coordination with shift supervisors.

No regular travel is required outside the First Solar work site.
