Job Summary
This hybrid role is for an Architect with deep experience in Power BI MS Power Automate GenAI foundations and database and SQL technologies responsible for designing secure scalable analytics and automation solutions. The architect will translate complex business needs into reliable data products and automated workflows that improve decisions and operational efficiency in a day shift model.
Responsibilities
Design end to end analytics and automation architectures that integrate Power BI Power Automate and core database and SQL platforms to deliver reliable enterprise reporting solutions
Develop robust data models and semantic layers in MS Power BI that optimize query performance and provide a consistent and trusted foundation for self service analytics across business units
Create reusable patterns and blueprints for Power BI report development that standardize visuals calculations and navigation to ensure consistent user experiences and reduce maintenance effort
Implement scalable data pipelines and transformations using SQL and related tools to prepare clean governed and validated datasets for downstream analytics in Power BI Service
Configure and manage Power BI Service workspaces datasets and refresh strategies to maintain high availability security and optimal performance for large user communities
Design and automate workflows using MS Power Automate to orchestrate notifications approvals and data enrichment steps that streamline business processes and reduce manual effort
Apply GenAI basics to propose and prototype intelligent assistants summarization flows and guided analytics experiences that make insights easier to consume and act upon
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed reporting and automation requirements translate them into technical specifications and align deliverables with organizational goals
Guide development teams on best practices for Power BI report builder usage including layout design parameterization and efficient query structures that minimize load on data sources
Establish and enforce standards for data quality security and access controls across analytics and automation solutions to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance
Perform performance tuning of SQL queries data models and Power BI reports to improve responsiveness scalability and resource utilization across environments
Document solution architectures data flows and operational procedures in a clear and accessible manner to support ongoing maintenance onboarding and knowledge sharing across teams
Mentor peers on effective use of Power BI Power Automate and SQL capabilities by providing hands on guidance design reviews and practical examples that uplift overall solution maturity
Qualifications
Combine over eleven years of experience in analytics or data platforms with deep hands on expertise in MS Power BI Power BI Service and Power BI report builder to design complex reporting ecosystems
Demonstrate strong proficiency in database and SQL concepts including data modeling query optimization and relational design to ensure robust and efficient data foundations
Exhibit practical experience with MS Power Automate to build resilient workflow automations connectors and integrations that extend analytics solutions into operational processes
Apply working knowledge of GenAI basics to identify valuable use cases evaluate feasibility and collaborate with specialists to embed intelligent features in analytics solutions
Show prior experience in hybrid work models with effective remote collaboration habits that maintain clear communication documentation and timely delivery in a distributed environment
Leverage any exposure to bioinformatics or related scientific domains to better understand complex data structures and to design analytics tailored to research or clinical decision contexts
Display strong communication abilities to explain technical architectures in accessible terms ensuring alignment among technical teams business stakeholders and governance forums
