About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing content team. In this role, you will transform raw footage into sleek, high-engaging videos tailored for digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and web). If you have a strong eye for visual storytelling, pacing, graphics, and sound design, we’d love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into polished short-form and long-form content.
Input graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and music to enhance viewer engagement.
Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film.
Perform color correction, grading, and audio cleaning/mixing.
Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align with brand guidelines.
Organize, archive, and manage raw assets and project files.
Skills & Qualifications:
Software Proficiency: Mastery of Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with After Effects is a strong plus.
Visual Storytelling: Solid understanding of video pacing, visual rhythm, framing, and narrative structure.
Audio & Motion Graphics: Basic skills in sound design, audio leveling, motion graphics, and animated typography.
Platform Awareness: Understanding of aspect ratios, export settings, and trends across YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and LinkedIn.
Time Management: Ability to manage tight deadlines and work on multiple project edits simultaneously.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor (portfolio or reel required with application).
Strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill in motion graphics, color grading, and audio editing.
High-speed computer setup capable of handling 4K footage rendering.
Excellent communication skills and open to constructive feedback.
Degree/Diploma in Film Studies, Digital Media, or equivalent practical experience.
