Job Description:-
The Assistant Teacher will support special educators and therapists in providing educational, behavioral, and daily activity support to special children in a safe, caring, and structured environment. The role includes assisting children during classroom activities, therapy sessions, learning programs, and daily routines while ensuring proper care and positive interaction.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Assist special educators and therapists during classroom and therapy sessions.
- Support children in learning activities, behavior management, and daily routines.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly environment.
- Encourage participation, communication, and social interaction among children.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom activities.
- Observe children’s progress and report updates to senior staff.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with parents and team members.
- Follow organizational policies, child safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:-
- Graduation preferred; Diploma or certification in Special Education will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with special children preferred.
- Patience, caring attitude, and good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of child care and classroom support.
