Should oversees and coordinates all machine shop operations in the workshop or project site. This role ensures that machine shop activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. The supervisor also manages welders, inspects workmanship, and supports continuous improvement in quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily welding operations and personnel. Ensure welding activities meet company, client, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO). Review machine shop procedures (WPS, PQR, WPQ) and ensure proper implementation. Monitor quality of welds through inspection and testing processes (visual, NDT, etc.).
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and maintain production schedules.
- Verify materials, consumables, and equipment meet project requirements. Maintain records of welding activities, performance, and repairs.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to welders and support staff.
- Coordinate with quality control, production, and engineering departments.
