Required Qualifications:
Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science/ Engineering or any relevant technical field.
8 to 10+ years in EHS management, managing multi-site portfolio for IT/ITES/Manufacturing with at least 4 years in multi-site operations.
Job Description Summary:
Responsible for Implementing a robust Risk Management Framework that prioritizes high-hazard activities (e.g., LOTO, confined spaces, chemical processing).
Expert in incident investigation and root cause analysis, ensuring that lessons learned are operationalized as standardized safety protocols across the entire site portfolio.
Drive a safety vision by engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, transforming HSE from a compliance requirement into a core organizational value.
Lead a comprehensive Good Catch/Near Miss program that leverages data-driven monthly dashboards to identify "weak signals" and trends, enabling the publication of best practices and the proactive prevention of catastrophic events.
Responsible for Designing and leading internal audit programs that verify not just legal compliance, but the effectiveness of safety controls on site
Serve as a regulatory subject matter expert by navigating NBC and other legal requirements while strategically preparing the organization for emerging legislative changes.
Establish a robust governance framework by collaborating with cross-functional teams and publish comprehensive EHS performance reports and data-driven narratives.
Maintain a flexible, collaborative approach by extending support and EHS oversight to other regions to meet dynamic organizational demands.
Developing high-level SOPs and governance documents for site specific requirements.
HSE inspections of All Bangalore sites including the upcoming new sites and Minor Projects Assessment and Lab Requirement Assessment.
Developing HSE training plan and coaching the team on HSE topics.
Based on Building risk level, Establish Annual planner and conduct 2 scenarios per quarter.
Establish Annual HSE Plan and report performance metrics during MMRs & QMRs.
