Key Responsibilities :Sales & Business Development
- Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve regional revenue and volume targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within cement plants and private mining customers.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure sustained growth.
- Execute strategic plans to expand market share for Mobil lubricants.
Forecasting & Planning
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and business plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor market trends, demand patterns, and competitor activities.
- Ensure alignment between sales forecasts and supply chain planning.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Deliver value-based solutions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Handle key accounts and negotiate commercial agreements.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team.
- Set performance targets and conduct regular reviews.
- Drive capability development and ensure high team engagement.
CRM & Reporting
- Ensure effective use of CRM tools for tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Inventory & Operations
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
- Coordinate with supply chain and distributors to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations.
Profitability Management
- Drive business profitability through effective pricing, cost control, and product mix optimization.
- Monitor margins and implement corrective actions where required.Role Overview : The Lubricant Business Manager – Central India will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and market expansion for Mobil lubricants across the Cement and Private Mining segments in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The role involves end-to-end business ownership including sales strategy, customer engagement, team leadership, business profitability and operational excellence.
- Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–15 years of experience in lubricants / industrial sales, preferably in Cement or Mining sectors.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and key account management.
- Proven track record in business development and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
