Business Development Manager (BDM)
Job Summary: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and negotiating and closing business deals. This role requires a combination of strategic analysis, marketing, and sales skills to foster the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify potential new clients and turn this into increased business by using various strategies and approaches.
- Client Relationships: Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships that lead to repeat and referral business.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, including analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial potentials.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and submit business proposals that align with clients' business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and close deals to maximize profits.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic business development plans aimed at sustaining or growing business.
- Reporting: Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure company goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Strong market knowledge and ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with expertise in writing proposals and making presentations.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage oneself and others if required.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment, but frequent travel may be necessary to meet potential clients.
- Standard working hours with additional hours to accommodate varying time zones and client needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
