Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead our sales function in the manufacturing and instrumentation industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in industrial sales, B2B business development, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize performance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, instrumentation, automation, industrial, and engineering sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, industrial clients, distributors, and key accounts.
- Handle customer meetings, product presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, MIS reports, and monthly sales reviews.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Projects, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets, collection of outstanding payments, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in exhibitions, industrial events, and customer visits to expand business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering. MBA (Marketing) is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in manufacturing, instrumentation, process automation, or industrial equipment.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in leading and managing a sales team.
- Strong understanding of industrial products, technical sales, and customer requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
