Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Warehouse In-Charge to oversee daily warehouse operations at Takoramart. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, inward and outward stock movement, order fulfilment, team coordination, stock accuracy, and maintaining warehouse discipline and efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure smooth warehouse functioning in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor inward and outward stock movement and maintain proper inventory records.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment for retail and e-commerce operations.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock audits and cycle counting.
- Manage warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, and monitor productivity.
- Ensure proper arrangement, labelling, and storage of products within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and delivery teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and discipline standards.
- Monitor damages, returns, and discrepancies and report them promptly.
- Ensure proper documentation for GRN, stock transfer, dispatch, and inventory records.
- Track warehouse KPIs such as stock accuracy, order processing time, and dispatch timelines.
- Implement SOPs and improve warehouse efficiency and workflow.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, retail, or e-commerce.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Experience in stock handling, inward/outward operations, and dispatch management.
- Good leadership and team handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in Excel and warehouse software/ERP systems preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in retail, FMCG, supermarket, logistics, or e-commerce warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
